Meet Our Team

We’re a passionate group of get-it-doners who share a deep love for coffee. We work hard and play even harder. When we’re not working out of our Kalispell headquarters, we’re probably spending time with our families, exploring the stunning landscapes of Northwest Montana, or relaxing on any one of the hundreds of crystal-clear lakes in the area.

Blaine Stimac, PT

Chief Executive Officer

Blaine Stimac, PT

Chief Executive Officer

Blaine grew up in Great Falls, Montana, and earned his Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana. With an entrepreneurial spirt and desire to make a big impact, he made a bold move launching his own private practice immediately following graduation. He was on a mission to make a difference in people’s lives through physical therapy; however, he quickly encountered the common challenges facing private practice owners.

Realizing an outstanding clinical and provider reputation would not alone create a great practice, he committed to learning how to run a business. Soon after Blaine acquired and merged his existing practice with another large private practice in Kalispell, Montana, he was able to drastically improve the performance and grow the quadruple the company’s performance. This inspired him to help other private practice owners overcome the barriers they face and build successful businesses, and became the impetus, vision and core of HRS. Blaine has also been active in the American Physical Therapy Association on a statewide and national level developing a passion for private practice advocacy and entrepreneurship.

Outside of work, you’ll find Blaine with his wife, Britne, and their three boys enjoying the mountain lifestyle. Often skiing, navigating the abundance of lakes and rivers in the valley, or hiking the mountains, they take full advantage of the Montana’s wide-open spaces. Blaine stays active coaching his three boys in lacrosse and is a dedicated fitness and health enthusiast – particularly enjoying CrossFit.

Ryan Robinson, PT, DPT

Chief Operations Officer

Ryan Robinson, PT, DPT

Chief Operations Officer

Ryan earned his Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington and post-professional Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Pacific University. His doctoral dissertation earned him publication in the Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT) and propelled him into an accomplished career working for large physical therapy companies in Washington and Colorado. After working his way up to clinic director in Colorado, Ryan and his wife, Sarah, decided to move back home to Kalispell, Montana, where he eventually moved into private-practice ownership.

Before long, past employees and co-workers started contacting Ryan for advice on various operational and financial questions related to their physical therapy clinics. He quickly realized there was a huge need for better business training in the industry and the concept of HRS emerged. Together, Ryan and Blaine (co-founder of HRS) set out to create a company that would help physical therapists succeed by equipping them with the skills needed to create a thriving business.

When he is not managing the operational side of the HRS business, you will find Ryan and Sarah leading their twin boys on outdoor adventures in the form of water skiing , downhill skiing, and mountain biking. With a passion for youth athletics, Ryan is the active President of the Northwest Lacrosse Association – a 501(c)(3) focused on providing kids with an inclusive community to grow in athletics. And despite his propensity for a well-placed joke and genuine interest in people, Ryan is a jiu jitsu purple belt and enjoys practicing martial arts to stay active.

Jey Ponti, PT

Insurance Compliance Manger

Jey Ponti, PT

Insurance Compliance Manger

Originally from Spokane, Washington, Jey grew up as the son of a veterinarian who worked with a diverse mix of animals. One of his primary roles was the rehabilitation of injured wildlife, including orphaned deer, owls, hawks and the occasional raccoon or badger. This unique experience inspired an interest in physical therapy where he could work to improve a person’s physical health and function, but with less risk of being bitten or clawed!

After receiving his bachelor’s degree in biology, he went on to earn his master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Montana. He’s a practicing physical therapist and clinic director of 20 years as well as 10 years of experience as a part-owner of one of our multi-clinic partners. After exiting the private practice ownership role, he joined our team in a part-time role in the insurance compliance and clinical validity and outcomes divisions.

Jey is an avid outdoorsman living in Whitefish, Montana, who enjoys mountain biking, downhill/telemark skiing, running rivers, fly fishing and taking his two daughters and wife on as many outdoor activities and sports as possible.

Patti Malkuch

Implementation Specialist

Patti Malkuch

Implementation Specialist

Well known for her sense of humor, Patti’s knack for coming up with hilarious original quotes and finding herself in comical situations is unmatched. She’s a proud Montana native hailing from Great Falls; and like others, takes full advantage of the immediate outdoor access where she spends lots of time with her husband and two rescue pups scouring the hillsides shed hunting (a Montana thing you may need to Google!) or enjoying lakeside camping.

Patti attended Spokane Falls Community College where she played collegiate softball and met her husband. They later transferred to MSU-Billings where she earned her bachelor’s degree in health promotion. With a passion for learning and helping people, she headed to the Flathead Valley where she became a critical component of our team.

When choosing how to spend her free time, there’s always one major frontrunner outside of a good afternoon nap – watching Jeopardy! Self admittedly, she’s impressed by how smart the contestants are and the risk and reward of playing the game. And of all the people she’d like to meet, James Holzhauer certainly sits atop the list.

Jami Moy

Director of Finance

Jami Moy

Director of Finance

Jami (or simply “Moy’ as we call her) brightens a room with her enthusiasm and joy for life. Born and raised in The Dalles, Oregon, she received her bachelor’s degree from Western Oregon University in business administration. She landed her first job after college at Moss Adams in Portland working with publicly traded, SEC-regulated financial institutions.

Though she loved her job and living in Oregon, her husband eventually convinced her to move to his native state of Montana where she started working for Plum Creek Timber on large-scale budgeting, forecasting and long-term strategic planning.

Always the life of the party (and we truly mean always), Jami is probably best known for her dedication to her family, boisterous sense of humor, passion for coaching and watching her kids play basketball, and a deeply engrained affinity for “all things unicorn.” She’s probably less known for her fantastic vocal abilities (she’s even recorded a gospel album!) … unless you visit the office on Friday afternoons when she’s singing along to Spotify.

Jessi Davidson

Marketing Strategist

Jessi Davidson

Marketing Strategist

A proud Wisconsin native, Jessi moved to the Flathead Valley in 2019 after living near the Boundary Waters Canoe and Wilderness Area in northern Minnesota for several years. Although she previously vacationed at Glacier National Park, her first time to Kalispell was when she arrived with her family and the moving truck.

Jessi earned a marketing degree from Winona State University and graphic design from Western Technical College. She spent the past few years working remotely for a community theater in Wisconsin handling all things marketing. After moving, Jessi looked forward to going back to an office and is excited to be a part of our team.

Outside of work, Jessi spends most of her time exploring the beautiful outdoors Montana’s famous for with her husband, Mitch, and daughter, Elisabeth. A common weekly “argument” at her house is whether the family adventure should be in Glacier National Park or Flathead National Forest. Since moving, Jessi has picked up archery and snowshoeing and can’t wait to find more outdoor hobbies.

Teresa Challans

Payroll & Benefits Manager

Teresa Challans

Payroll & Benefits Manager

You can take a girl out of the South, but you can’t take the South out of the girl. Growing up a military brat living in South Carolina, Germany, Kansas, New York, Texas and Wisconsin, Teresa’s family eventually made Georgia home. She later moved to Kansas for a fresh start with her husband. Moving back to the town she graduated from high school, she knew everything happened for a reason.

While on a lunch breaking one day, she submitted her resume for a job in Kalispell, Montana, and by lunch she had an interview set up and flew to the Flathead Valley by Friday. The rest is history as she became an integral part of our team.

At the age of 32, Teresa went back to college to earn her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in business management. The message to her kids and everyone is that it’s never too late to chase your goals. In her spare time, she can be found working outside with her husband, Mark (another HRS game changer!), or faithfully waiting in line at Starbucks for her venti, non-fat, no whip, six pump white chocolate mocha.

Molly Moore

Program Manager

Molly Moore

Program Manager

Molly is the calm, cool, collected presence we all need in our lives, but don’t let that fool you – she can whip out a witty line faster than you can blink. A native to the Flathead Valley, Molly eventually attended Washington State University (Go Cougs!) to pursue a bachelor’s degree in biology.

Although the diploma looked nice on the wall, collegiate athletics administration was her true passion and afforded her the opportunity to earn a master’s degree in education from Washington State University. She spent 12 years in athletic administration at Portland State University and the University of Wyoming before the beauty of Montana and the desire to be closer to her family called her home.

When she isn’t using her superior project management talents, attention to detail, and administrative skills to help our partners, you’ll find her walking her dog Taylie, baking, cooking, traveling the world, hiking, watching sports, trying to keep up on her women’s basketball team, or enjoying weekly dinners with her delightful parents, Bob & Sue.

Mark Challans

Communication Systems Specialist

Mark Challans

Communication Systems Specialist

A man on a journey never afraid to see where a new path may lead. Mark grew up in Winifred, Montana, and longed to experience life outside of the small, rural town. After high school graduation, he chose to pursue a career in the United States Army and proudly served our country for 21 years.

When Mark retired from the Army, he was faced with “what’s next?” His military career came to a close and the uncertainty of what was ahead seemed overwhelming, but the one constant that remained was the location of his next chapter – the Big Sky State. When Mark and his wife, Teresa (also one of our HRS game changers!) had the opportunity to return to Montana life, the answer was simple.

Albeit a wizard at setting up communication systems for our partners, Mark leaves technology behind in his spare time opting to take full advantage of his proximity to the great outdoors. You’ll likely find him on the water – boating or fishing, honing his woodworking skills, or jumping into an improvement project on his property.

Our Story

Health & Rehab Solutions was founded with a bold idea to be a catalyst for entrepreneurial success in healthcare. This idea started with a problem – physical therapists often lack the critical skills needed to create a successful business. As we transitioned into leadership positions within the industry, we realize this and quickly discovered it wasn’t an isolated issue. Therapists across the country needed additional business training, but who was qualified to provide it? It turns out WE were, or at least we were going to become qualified. We knew there were other options out there through other partnership models and non-physical therapy owned business structures, but the truth was that none of them understood physical therapy like we did.

We started HRS to create an innovative entrepreneurial opportunity.

Our Partners

Our partners are located throughout the United States in Montana, Colorado, Utah, Arizona and Washington.
